About these sites

These sites are run by Fairmount steamHouse, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Golden, Colorado. They exist to share our developmental framework, curriculum and tools, writing, and program information, and to let supporters give. The sites are informational and are offered as-is.

Intellectual property

Except where noted, the content on these sites — text, framework materials, the Development Markers, graphics, books, and essays — is owned by Fairmount steamHouse or used with permission, and is protected by copyright. "steamHouse" is our mark. You're welcome to read, link to, and share our pages, and to use freely-offered materials for personal, educational, or nonprofit purposes with attribution. Please don't republish, sell, or build derivative products from our materials without written permission. Where a page offers materials under specific terms (for example, a stated license), those terms govern that material.

Acceptable use

Please don't use the sites to break the law, infringe others' rights, disrupt or probe the sites' security, scrape at a scale that burdens the service, or misrepresent your identity. (Note: we welcome AI crawlers that respect our robots.txt — that's intentional and separate from abuse.)

Interactive tools and credentialing

Tools on the Workshop are provided to help you explore the framework. They may store your activity in your own browser, on your device (see the Privacy Policy). They're offered as-is, without any guarantee of availability or accuracy, and may change or be discontinued.

Donations

Donations are voluntary and, as a U.S. 501(c)(3), generally tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law (EIN 39-2162825) — we issue written acknowledgments for gifts of $250 or more. Payments are handled by third-party processors under their own terms. Donations are non-refundable except in the case of a clear processing error; to report one, contact us promptly.Confirm refund posture with legal/finance reviewer. Remove this flag on publish.

These sites link to and embed outside services. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or practices; your use of them is governed by their terms.
