Clubhouse and Grounds
In addition to being the residence of Romy and family, the two acre site includes a small animal barn and a dedicated clubhouse.
Modeling a “do what you can with what you’ve got” attitude, the clubhouse is equipped almost exclusively with items collected from Craigslist Free and Goodwill.
The decor is intended to suggest pattern, metaphor and story. Scale, dimension and connection are also intended to be invoked.
The site is home to two goats, a mini-donkey, a cat and a dog, two beehives and a small pond sometimes with fish. And now also a Big Friendly Snake.
A fire ring is adjacent to the new “hoofie hut” amphitheater.
